Traveling with CBD: UK and International guide
If you're heading off on holiday, you don't need to leave your CBD at home. However, it’s important to understand the rules before you pack and take your CBD on the plane. While CBD is widely available in the UK, regulations change quickly once you cross borders and what’s perfectly legal at home may be restricted elsewhere.
In the UK, CBD is legal provided it is derived from an approved industrial hemp strain and contains no more than trace levels of THC (generally 0.2% THC content or 1 mg per finished product). CBD products must also comply with Novel Food regulations if ingested, meaning they should be properly authorised and clearly labelled. You can travel within the UK freely with CBD oils, edibles, patches, and skincare, but always keep products in original packaging to avoid confusion.
When travelling internationally, the rules become a little more complex. In many European destinations such as Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Germany and the Netherlands, CBD is generally tolerated if it sits within the UK's THC regulations. Destinations including the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Asia consider CBD illegal, even if THC-free options, so we would recommend you don't take your CBD to these countries. Always check local regulations before travel.

For stress-free travel, certain CBD formats are far more convenient than traditional oils. Our CBD Patches (CBD Patches) are discreet and flat so perfect for slipping into a book or travel wallet, making them ideal when you have to pack light. Our CBD Gummies (CBD Gummies) are mess-free, don’t leak like classic CBD oils and are great for all the family looking for calm on the go. For summer skin support, our CBD Skin Care range (Skin Care Collection), especially the Miracle Serum, is excellent for soothing insect bites, scrapes, and bruises after outdoor adventures. And our Face & Body Cream is a holiday essential for after-sun hydration.
Travelling with CBD doesn’t have to be complicated, but preparation is key. By understanding the laws of your destination and choosing travel-friendly formats, you can enjoy your holiday with peace of mind.
