If you’re here reading about CBD & parenting, chances are you’re a parent. And, assuming that’s the case, we’ll also assume that you already know how deeply challenging being a parent can be on every level.

Early years exhaustion? Check. Three-teen tantrums? Check. Endless demands for your time/energy/money/food at every age? Definitely. There are many things that mums and dads have in common when it comes to parenthood, but one that’s hardly ever talked about is the fact that we’re probably all endocannabinoid deficient.

When stress, sleep deprivation, poor diet and lack of down time and exercise takes its toll, you can see the side effects in more ways than eye-bags and mum/dad tums. These are all big contributors to the body slowing way down on endocannabinoid Anandamide and 2-AG release and presence, as well as problems spanning pretty much every aspect of your health and wellbeing. On top of your own discomfort, having this ongoing strain on your wellbeing can make parenting the way you want to parent extra tough.
