There are many ways to take your CBD oil, sublingually (under your tongue), topically, vaping, capsules…and another option is to add it to your juice or smoothie to give it an extra health boost. It’s really important to mention straight away that ingesting traditional CBD oil is not the way to go. This is why CBD oil is administered sublingually, so the enzymes in your mouth can break through the carrying oil and the mucous membrane can then absorb the CBD compounds. When this blob of oil enters your stomach it’s too large to pass through your gut lining and enter systemic circulation without being broken down by enzymes and passed along the the liver for processing. It can often be stored as fat cells for the body to use later on, which isn’t always a bad thing and explains why regular use of CBD is essential. But not everyone can process fats (some kidney conditions for expample inhibit the breakdown of fats).

Everyone is unique and the fact remains that everyone is in a different place and will react differently to their CBD dosage. As dosage of CBD differs for each person, it is best to start small and gradually increase at a comfortable level until you experience the desired result. Start with 1-2 doses a day. This may well be the optimum amount for maintaining the regulation of your immune, nervous and hormone systems. But if you feel you need more, up it slowly over time until you reach the desired effect.
